Waiver - Hire
In signing this document, I fully recognize that if injury, illness or death occurs to me while I’m participating in stand up paddle boarding during my contract hire with A1 SUP Hire, I will have no right to make a claim or file a lawsuit against A1 SUP Hire, its officers, agents and employees, even if they or any of them negligently cause my injury, illness or death.
I am committed to wearing a leash & life jacket at all times. Wearing of wet suit advised.
I will not participate in this activity if I’m under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
I understand that this activity may result in hazards posed by other water users and water conditions.
I understand that A1 SUP Hire is not liable for any legionnaires’ disease or any other waterborne diseases that may occur during water contact.
A1 SUP Hire strongly recommends persons under 18 years of age should be supervised when on the water at all times.
I accept that I am responsible for the replacement value of the equipment if lost, or the cost of repair if damaged. COSTS ARE: BOARD £250, BAG £10, PADDLE £35, Life Jacket £17, PUMP £12, LEASH £25, PHONE POUCH £8. In the event of damage or theft or the equipment, the customer will have to pay an insurance excess of up to THREE HUNDRED POUNDS (£300) per event.
I understand that I have sole responsibility during my hire period. Insurance cover / third party liability cover is my responsibility and NOT offered to me by A1 SUP Hire as part of my hire. (For full T&C see website)
Waiver – Parental consent

In signing this document, I fully recognize that if injury, illness or death occurs to my child, while participating in stand up paddle boarding during the birthday party hosted by A1 SUP Hire, I will have no right to make a claim or file a lawsuit against A1 SUP Hire, its officers, agents and employees, even if they or any of them negligently causes my child’s injury, illness or death.
My child is committed to wearing a leash & life jacket at all times.
Wearing of a wet suit is advised especially when water temperature is below 16 deg.
The child will not participate in this activity if under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
I understand that this activity may result in hazards posed by other water users and water conditions.
I understand that A1 SUP Hire is not liable for any legionnaires’ disease or any other waterborne diseases that may occur to my child during water contact.
Children must be in full view of parent / guardian at all times whilst on the water.
A1 SUP Hire Stand Up Paddleboard EQUIPMENT HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You must be 18 or over to hire a sup. All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult, on a one adult to a maximum of two children ratio. No children under the age of 8 years old.

The hirer confirms that all participants can competently swim a minimum of 25 metres unaided and that they will wear the supplied PFD at all times.

The hirer confirms that all participants do not suffer from any medical condition, and are not taking any medication/drugs, that could affect their ability to partake in the paddling activity.

The hirer agrees to only use the subject of hire and equipment in the manner described by A1 SUP Hire.

The hirer acknowledges and agrees that the equipment is in good condition in all aspects and undertakes not to misuse it and to return it with all accessories in the similar condition as when received.

The hirer will immediately notify A1 SUP Hire in the event of any loss of the equipment.

The hirer shall cover A1 SUP Hire in respect of all cost, claims, expenses and demands which it may suffer or incur, and which arise directly or indirectly out of the use of the equipment during the period of hire.

The hirer acknowledges that by taking advantage of A1 SUP Hire offer on the use of their sups and equipment and you cause damage to the sups and equipment, whether by your negligence, deliberate or accidental actions that by signing this agreement you agree to pay for any damages to the sups or equipment or the full price for the replacement of the sup or equipment, if lost or damaged beyond repair.

The hirer understands that A1 SUP Hire or its employees do not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by persons and/or their property arising out of, or during the course of activities whilst hiring. A1 SUP Hire also will not accept any liability for, damage or injury suffered to any person or persons and/or property by your actions, be these said actions accidental or of a deliberate nature.

INSURANCE, A1 SUP Hire confirms that it is covered by public liability insurance; however we offer no insurance cover regarding personal accidents to individuals that may occur during the term of this hire agreement. In your own interest watersports activities involve an element of risk; you are strongly advised to take out insurance cover against accident, emergency rescue, and personal injury, loss of luggage, equipment damage and cancellation.

A1 SUP Hire reserves the right to refuse or immediately terminate a hire. The disclosure of the reason for this action will be entirely at A1 SUP Hire discretion.
A1 SUP Hire Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: Sup Yoga & Cold water swimming: Please contact Monika 0783 437 2763, at least 48 hours prior to your booked session and a full refund will be given, to allow for someone else being able to book the session. After 48 hours no refund will be issued as we need to cover the pool and staffing costs, Thank you for your understanding.
